Drivers targeted by armed street gangs
Night-time gun threat to drivers who flash to help fellow motorists
Ambulance drivers are being warned not to flash motorists who are not using their lights at night. There is a reported danger that if they do they will be followed and shot at for no reason.
Manchester and London ambulance services have learnt that youths who want to join a street gang are being told to drive around with no lights on their cars. The first person who flashes them, points at them or sounds their horn at them has to be followed by the would-be gang member, who then has to fire a shot into that vehicle with no regard as to who is inside.
