Iveco has launched a limited edition Daily van. The Climate is based on the two most popular models in the Daily van range and pitched at retail customers, adding over £2000 worth of equipment as standard.
As the name suggests, the kit includes climate control. Other features are a CD player, electric windows, electrically heated and adjustable rear-view mirrors, a driver's seat lumbar support and a safety package that includes a driver's airbag, and ABS brakes with emergency brake assist.
The Daily Climate is based on the 3.5-tonne GVW 35S12 van, available with either a 3300mm or a 3950mm wheelbase and a high roof, giving body volumes of 12.0cu-m or 15.6cu-m respectively.
Sales started in July and Iveco has earmarked 250 to sell on a first come, first served basis.
Power comes from Iveco's 116hp 2.3-litre HPI diesel. The more powerful 136hp variant of the engine can be specified for an additional £400. Prices start at £14,050 (ex-VAT) and £15,050 (ex-VAT) for the longer wheelbase model.
