Tipping trailer manufacturer Fruehauf will unveil its first ever, rigid tipper body at the CV Show on stand 3-3441. A new venture by Fruehauf parent company, Wordsworth Holdings Plc, sees the entrepreneurial group move into the world of on-board weighing equipment
Fruehauf will exhibit its first rigid tipping body on stand 3-3441 at the CV Show.

Mounted on a DAF CF 85 8x4 chassis, the ribbed design of the 35 cu yd capacity body draws heavily on Fruehauf’s experience of the tipper market.
It comes equipped with a host of features including a special hardened 6mm Herkal HK 34 alloy floor of which the rear 2m is made from 8mm alloy for extra strength and durability.  A single hinged, one-piece tailgate is fitted and the tipping gear is an Edbro CX 15 unit.

The high quality body has a two-pack paint finish and an on-board weigher.  A roll cover completes the high specification.
Also making its debut at the NEC is a 65 cu yd, and straight frame smooth-sider bulk-tipping semi-trailer. This 10.7m long, 1.9m high body is made from 30mm profile planks and has a combined ladder and walkway, topped off with a Dawbarn roll cover.
The tipper chassis comes with Daimler-Chrysler axles with disc brakes, auto-drop axle, traction control, roll stability and Alcoa polished aluminium wheels, fitted with Bridgestone M748 tyres.

Fruehauf’s owners, Wordsworth Holdings Plc has entered the on-board weighing equipment market.

Mx Onboard looks set to challenge established on-board weighing equipment manufacturers with its new units and will debut them at the CV Show on stand 3356.  The company says that by using the latest, well proven hi tech components, it offers the ultimate in on-board weighing technology, all wrapped up in a robust, user-friendly package.
Mx adds that to ensure absolute reliability, both the inner and outer boxes are totally waterproofed, which also means the screen is kept clean and the display remains clearly visible, no matter what the weather throws at it.
The bright LED display is easy to read, while the large, tough push buttons make for high-speed operation combined with ease of use – even when wearing gloves.
